Twenty regional centers working alongside Texas schools to strengthen teaching, technology, and operations.
The Network
A statewide system of 20 regional centers
The Texas System of Education Service Centers is a network of 20 regional centers dedicated to improving student performance in Texas. Each center serves the public, private, and charter school districts in its area under the supervision of an Executive Director and a highly skilled staff.
Centers provide shared services developed at the request of schools — including curriculum support, technology hosting, and food program coordination — so districts can redirect resources to the classroom.
The Texas System of Education Service Centers brings together twenty regional hubs that work in close partnership with local school districts across the state. Each center operates under the leadership of an Executive Director and a team of experienced professionals who understand the unique needs of the communities they serve. By pooling expertise and resources, these centers help schools operate more efficiently while keeping their attention firmly on classroom outcomes. The shared mission is straightforward: strengthen teaching, broaden access to modern tools, and ensure that every student has the support needed to succeed.
Cooperation is at the heart of the network's approach. Rather than asking individual districts to duplicate effort, the centers respond to requests from schools and develop services that can be used statewide. Curriculum support, technology hosting, and food program coordination are examples of areas where regional collaboration lightens the load on local staff and frees educators to focus on instruction. This cooperative model allows districts to share costs, adopt proven practices more quickly, and maintain a consistent standard of quality across very different communities, from small rural towns to large urban districts.
Ultimately, the system exists to prepare students for the future by giving schools reliable, responsive assistance. Whether the need involves professional development for teachers, secure hosting of digital resources, or guidance on operational matters, the centers stand ready to help. Their work reflects a long-standing commitment to public education and a belief that strong regional support leads to stronger classrooms. By connecting districts with expertise and with one another, the network aims to keep Texas education adaptable, equitable, and focused on student achievement.
